Director and actor Sundar C is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Aranmanai 4’, starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Raashii Khanna. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about a heartbreaking incident where his partner, actress Kushboo Sundar, proposed to him to someone else.

While talking to Cinema Vikatan, Sundar was shown a picture of him sitting with his newborn baby and Khushboo, and she is looking at them lovingly. According to him, it was a deeply moving moment, captured just after Khushboo regained consciousness after the birth of their first child. He had never shared the story behind that moving image, because it was too personal for him. But he said Khushboo was heartbroken when she was told she couldn’t get pregnant.

This was before their marriage. She was unwell and a doctor told her she could not be a mother. Khushboo cried and asked Sundar to marry someone else. But he was sure that he would have a life with her and prepared not to have a child in their lives. But he states that God changed the plan by giving them two daughters.

‘Aranmanai 4’ was supposed to release in April but was postponed to May 3. Khushboo is the producer of the film. The first installment in this horror franchise was released in 2014, starring Sundar, Hansika Motwani, Vinay Rai and Andrea Jeremiah. The second part was released in 2016, starring Sundar and Hansika, Siddharth and Trisha. In 2021, Sundar released the third part starring Arya, Raashii and Andrea.
