Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA “Knicks” releases on May 10

Kiko Kostadinov’s GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA is officially back in 2024. This Kiko-designed model debuted last year in just one black/royal blue colorway and features the cushioning unit from the 2021 GEL-QUANTUM LEVITRACK. It has been confirmed to be back will appear based on an Instagram post by the Bulgarian designer himself.

On April 30, the designer revealed what’s to come: a white/blue/orange colorway that should be a hit in New York City, considering the colors resemble a professional sports team currently vying for championship glory.

As you know, this Kiko-designed cushioning unit, designed by the ASICS Institute of Sport Science in Japan, was used in recent inline releases of the GEL-QUANTUM Kinetic model. Despite not being an actual collaboration, fans embraced this model as it closely aligned with both the esteemed LEVITRACK and ZIENTZIA models.

The ‘What’ is still a mystery as official details have yet to be revealed. We know the “When” and “Where”; this return is exclusively earmarked for May 10, 2024 in Japan and on Kiko Kostadinov’s website. Stay tuned for further updates.
