The MQM-P delegation calls on the Home Minister to discuss law and order situation in Sindh

A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Thursday summoned Federal Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi in ​​Karachi to discuss the law and order situation in the province.

The MQM-P delegation included party chairman and Education Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and deputy chairmen Dr Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal. The meeting took into account the law and order situation in Sindh, especially Karachi, and issues of mutual interest such as the prevailing political situation in the country.

The federal minister assured the MQM-P delegation that he would do his best to resolve the issues discussed by the MQM-P leaders during the meeting. Naqvi said mutual political differences should be put aside for the time being to resolve the prevailing issues for the sustenance of the country. He said a general consensus among political parties would go a long way in solving serious problems in the country.

Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori during a meeting with the Home Minister lauded his achievements in completing various development projects with utmost speed during his term as interim Chief Minister of Punjab.

He said that all concerned quarters in the country had witnessed and recognized Naqvi’s exemplary performance during his stint as caretaker of Punjab CM. The Governor said he had witnessed rapid completion of development projects in Lahore during the tenure of the interim government in Punjab. He added that Naqvi was now performing his duties as Home Minister well.

Naqvi also visited a special marquee at the Governor House and witnessed classes of a free IT training program for deserving children. The Home Minister also witnessed the food ration drive at the Governor’s House for needy families and commended various welfare initiatives of Tessori.
