Australian game Cozy Caravan will get early access in May 2024

If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, the upcoming adventure life sim Cozy caravan from Australian developer 5 Lives Studios (Wind-bound) should be on your radar when it activates early PC access May 16, 2024. Ahead of the launch, a new trailer showed off plenty of fun atmosphere, cute villagers to befriend, and a ton of neat gameplay mechanics.

In this story you are a small creature in charge of a large caravan and journey to new realms with your best friend, Bubba (a giant bee). You set up your caravan at various locations and turn your environment into a cozy home.

You’ll meet cute villagers, craft and collect materials, fish and farm, then set up a market and trade with the locals. You can also complete mini-missions to help your new village and discover a range of special activities, such as skipping stones.

What’s most striking Cozy caravan In addition to the cute little character designs and cozy, aesthetic world, there’s also low frame rate animation. While the game’s world is smooth and clean, each character is animated in a stop-motion style, making them look like little clay figures. It’s a very different animation style than that typically used in games, and it looks beautiful in motion.

As announced, early access players will be able to explore this game and its many quirks in depth, with the game’s first major region being included at launch. This includes a variety of quests and characters to befriend, as well as special activities. A new region will be added later in Early Access, and more regions will be coming to the game after the release of version 1.0.
