BTS V becomes the first and only Korean soloist to win the Fact Music Award twice; ARMYs celebrate

BTS V, aka Kim Taehyung, is currently serving in the military, but he still manages to turn heads with new milestones. He recently won the Fact Music Awards in the Best Music category for his latest song ‘FRI(END)S’. This is the second time V has been honored with the Fact Music award, as he previously won the Best Music Fall award in 2023. BTS ARMYs are on cloud nine after seeing the Kpop idol’s new performance.

Kim Taehyung has become the first and only Korean soloist to receive the Best Music award at the Face Music Award.

On the work front, V recently released his single ‘FRI(END)S, which became a big hit. He previously released his solo album ‘Layover’, which contains six songs: ‘For You’, ‘Blue’, ‘Slow Dancing’, ‘Rainy Days’, ‘Love Me Again’ and ‘Slow Dancing (Piano Version). BigHit Music released an official statement on Weverse saying: “Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Layover consists of six songs in total: five songs and a bonus track. To fully appreciate the flow of the album , we recommend listening to it in order from beginning to end.”

“The music videos for all five songs will also be revealed. V will be showcasing exciting new performances and making several appearances in addition to the album release. Stay tuned and continue to support V as he embarks on his new solo journey,” added BigHit Music.

V was previously in the news when he reached a new milestone by getting over 300 million streams on Spotify for all four solo songs. Kim Taehyung made his solo debut with his album ‘Layover’ and released two songs from the album. ‘Love Me Again’ and ‘Slow Dancing’ are part of V’s album ‘Layover’. The other songs that have passed 300 million streams are ‘Christmas Tree’ and ‘Sweet Night’, which were made for Kdramas.

He also collaborated with Kpop idol actress IU for her single ‘Love Wins All’ and starred in the music video.
