With their twelfth studio album ‘Late developers addition to an already beloved catalog of music, Scottish indie rock icons Belle and Sebastian will bring it all to Australian fans on a highly anticipated tour of the country in August.

The hatching of ‘Late developers’which follows their 2022 album ‘A little previous’, showcased Belle and Sebastian’s continued sense of artistic growth and songwriting talent. Australian fans can experience the warmth and richness of Belle and Sebastian’s live show at venues across the country, starting in Brisbane and continuing up the east coast before ending in Perth.

Belle & Sebastian are accompanied by an English singer-songwriter Badly drawn boymarking their first trip down under in over twenty years.

Releasing his first album in ten years – ‘Banana skin shoes – in 2020, Badly Draw Boy (aka Damon Gough) re-emerged on the radar with a collection of material to remind both new and old fans of his exemplary songwriting skills. A Mercury Prize Winner (2000’s ‘The hour of the bewildering beast), Badly Drawn Boy built a musical legacy as a solo musician and composer that secured his status as one of Britain’s most important and defining voices from the late ’90s to the early ’00s.

Since their debut in 1996 with the groundbreaking record Tiger’s milk, Belle and Sebastian have been integral players in the development of an indie pop sound synonymous with music coming out of Britain over the next decade. Later releases, including ‘The boy with the Arab belt’ and 2003’s’Catastrophe Waitress’ introduced more audiences around the world to Belle and Sebastian’s style of pop songwriting, cementing their place as indie royalty.
