US 401 S in Franklin County closed after fatal crash

A fatal crash involving two vehicles Thursday evening has shut down US 401 South in Franklin County.

Louisburg Fire Chief Randy Lanham confirmed that one person was killed in the crash. T

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and both the northbound and southbound lanes are currently closed.
