City of Fenwick seeking candidates for City Council

FENWICK ISLAND, Del. – The City of Fenwick Island is seeking qualified candidates for their City Council.

There are a total of three vacancies to be filled, each with a term of two years. To be eligible, you must be registered to vote at least one year before the election.

Other qualifications include:

• A natural person who is a citizen of the United States
• Be 21 years or older on or before the election date
• Either a bona fide resident of the city or a property owner in the city
• No convicted crimes

The deadline for submitting candidates is Tuesday, June 18 at 4:30 PM. The annual municipal elections are scheduled for Saturday, August 3.
