Pininfarina x Wayne Enterprises unveil Battista and B95 Hypercars

Ever since the Caped Crusader first hit the big screen in 1966, audiences have been enamored with Batman and the various trials he faces while fighting crime in Gotham. Like James Bond, one of the main selling points of the Batman film franchise is undoubtedly the gadgets, equipment and vehicles that Bruce Wayne uses when he suits up. Inspired by Bats’ gear, Wayne Enterprises – not to be confused with the DCU’s fictional outfit of the same name – was founded in recent years with the aim of delivering limited-edition products and collaborations that draw ample inspiration from the Dark’s signature rides Knight. , weapons and other equipment.

And for Wayne Enterprises’ latest joint effort, the company has appropriately teamed up with legendary Italian design house and hypercar brand Automobili Pininfarina to bring an extremely limited edition of Gotham (re: color silver) and Dark Knight Edition (re: color black) to produce. ) B95 and Battista hypercars.

It’s common for blacked-out, menacing-looking, powerful vehicles to be described as “something Batman would drive.” And Pininfarina’s recent collaboration with Wayne Enterprises builds on this idea by customizing some of the world’s most capable hypercars exactly as Bruce Wayne would. In typical brand fashion, each of these four unique limited editions features a host of bespoke details both inside and out, including bespoke paint, bespoke upholstery, numerous special branding, logos and plaques, and each hypercar even gets a state-of-the-art privacy mode, a Wayne Enterprises-inspired human-machine interface and a custom audio system voiced by Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred Pennyworth.

All four limited edition hypercars from Pininfarina and Wayne Enterprises feature some truly remarkable performance capabilities that make them an objective fit for Bruce. The Dark Knight and Gotham Edition B95 cars feature a 1,416 kW quad-motor powertrain that delivers 1,900 hp and enables a 0-100 km/h time of two seconds.

Like a Battista from hell

Built around a full carbon fiber monocoque draped in a full carbon fiber bodywork, the Dark Knight and Gotham Edition Battista models are even more extreme. They are propelled by a four-motor electric powertrain that delivers the same 1,900 horsepower, but delivers an even faster 0-60 mph time of 1.86 seconds and a top speed of more than 217 mph.

Going Dark: Dark Knight

The Dark Knight Edition Battista and B95 start with already hugely impressive EV hypercar models that are then customized to better suit the streets of Gotham. Both hypercars feature the exclusive Nero Profondo gloss paint and a matching darkened interior, finished with a combination of leather and Alcantara. Both models also ride on a custom set of ceramic-polished ten-link split-spoke wheels (20” F, 21” R) shod in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R rubber.

Gritty City Inspired: Gotham

Inspired by Batman’s birthplace and stomping grounds, the Gotham Edition Battista and B95 hypercars take things in a more elegant direction. While the Dark Knight spec models are clearly intended for Batman, the Gotham Editions are intended for Bruce Wayne to use when he’s not fighting crime as his alter ego. This urban-inspired set of one-of-a-kind hypercars is dressed in a glossy coat of Argento Vittorio paint over a brown leather cabin with custom electro-welded stitching in the seat center panels.

The Automobili Pininfarina x Wayne Enterprises Dark Night and Gotham Edition Battista hypercars are now available for allocation and are priced at €3,400,000 (~$3,647,350), while the Dark Night and Gotham Edition B95 models are priced at €4,900,000 (~ $5,256,475) will cost.
