Nellore: The Jagan government never cared about people during its five years in office and even cheated poor people, by not providing insurance to the families who died of corona, criticized Ponguru Sharani, daughter of Nellore City TDP MLA candidate Dr. P. Narayana. She campaigned in support of her father at the 11th Division in the city on Thursday.

Later, speaking to the media, Sharani said that after coming to power, the Telugu Desam Party will provide Rs 5 lakh for natural death and Rs 10 lakh for accidental death under the insurance policy.

Recalling that Narayana had completed 80 percent of underground drainage and safe drinking water facilities in Nellore city during his tenure as minister from 2014-2019, she pointed out that the YSRCP government had not completed the remaining 10% of the work. She alleged that the state government had not completed even a single development work, many of the beneficiaries were not getting pension and had not allotted Tidco houses to the beneficiaries. Sharani assured that TDP will solve all the problems of the people and urged the people to elect Narayan as MLA and Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy as MP in the upcoming elections.
