IPL 2024 MI v KKR: Predicted XI entry of Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders for today’s match

Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to do battle against each other today in the IPL 2024. The match will be played on May 3 in India’s industrial capital Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium.

It will be a challenge for both teams as qualifying for the play-offs is now the only motive. KKR are in a good position to make it to the play-offs, while qualification for Mumbai Indians looks a bit difficult.

Hardik Pandya captaining Mumbai Indians did not work out well for the team as they are currently at 9th place in the points table. They have managed to win just six games in the ten matches played so far. While Kolkata has won 6 out of 9.

Both teams have exceptional batting line-ups and there could be fireworks of sixes and fours in Wankhede today. However, it’s a do-or-die game for Mumbai Indians as a win still makes them contenders for playoff qualification.

Mumbai Indians predicted to play XI:

Ishan Kishan (wk), Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (c), Nehal Wadhera, Tim David, Romario Shepherd, Gerald Coetzee, Piyush Chawla, Jasprit Bumrah

Kolkata Knight Riders predicted to play XI:

Philip Salt (wk), Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer (c), Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Mitchell Starc, Vaibhav Arora, Harshit Rana, Varun Chakaravarthy.
